July's road bike hill climb starts at the Gordon Arms pub. This is at the cross roads of the B709 (road heading South from Innerleithen) and the A708 (the road that links Selkirk and St Mary's Loch).
The climb is 4.5km in length, an elevation of 129m and an average gradient of 3%. A much easier hill climb this month, thank you Kevin. Start at the Gordon Arms and head up towards Innerleithen. The climb finishes at the very top opposite the signpost Glenlude. This signpost is on your left about 100m after the cattle grid. So once you reach the cattle grid you know you are almost at the finish.
Again you have until the end of July to get your ass up this climb, do it as many times as you like, when it comes to the end of the month, give your best time to Kevin.
Ive created a Strava segment for the club and its called BT Kev's Challenge July 2017. See https://www.strava.com/activities/1065534602/segments/26220800089
